Product detail

There is a genuine advantage to a fish small enough to be eaten whole — skin, bones, and all. Nothing is stripped out during processing, so nothing needs to be added back.

Anchovies are naturally rich in omega-3 fatty acids. They are also short-lived and low on the food chain, and consequently accumulate substantially less mercury than larger species. That is a meaningful consideration for anything fed regularly.

Freeze-dried, they stay crisp and break cleanly by hand, which makes portioning for smaller pets straightforward.

One note on odour: these are pungent. That is inherent to the product and is precisely why pets respond to them.

Feeding guidance

For smaller pets, break fish into smaller pieces.

Cats with kidney concerns: fish is naturally higher in phosphorus than most proteins, which matters for cats on a renal diet. Check with your veterinarian before adding fish treats if that applies to yours.
