Heart is technically a muscle rather than an organ in the metabolic sense, which explains why it sits more easily than liver while retaining the appeal of organ meat.

Freeze-dried, each heart holds its shape and stays dry to the touch — no residue on the hands, no crumbs in a pocket. Chicken heart is naturally rich in taurine, iron, and B vitamins.

At 2 kcal per heart, this is one of the few nutrient-dense treats that can be used repeatedly in a single training session without displacing a meaningful share of the day's calories.

For cats, this is the one. Cats cannot synthesise enough taurine on their own, and long-term deficiency is associated with heart and eye disease. Heart muscle is among the richest natural sources available. Most cat treats are shaped kibble with flavour applied to the surface. This is heart.
